Julius Keith Bridges is a resilient and inspirational individual who has transformed his life from a troubled past to become a beacon of hope for at-risk youth. Keith faced many obstacles during his teenage years, leading to a ten-year prison sentence. However, he emerged from that experience with a renewed determination to make a positive impact on the lives of young people facing similar challenges.

After his release, Keith committed himself to education and self-improvement. He obtained his GED while incarcerated and continued his education upon release. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling from West Alabama University. His journey from being a teenager behind bars to becoming a high school Business Teacher is a testament to his unwavering dedication to personal growth and transformation.

Today, Keith is not only an esteemed educator but also the proud owner of a non-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth break free from the cycle of crime and poverty. The organization, called Building Better Bridges Inc. " provides educational and mentorship programs designed to empower young individuals with the skills, guidance, and support they need to overcome adversity and thrive.

One of Keith’s most significant contributions to his community is his role as a mentor for the Department of Juvenile Justice. He uses his own experiences to connect with and inspire incarcerated youth, offering them guidance and hope for a brighter future. Through his mentorship, Keith encourages these young individuals to believe in their potential and make positive choices, breaking the cycle of crime and incarceration that he once experienced himself.
